Congratulations to Leonardo Herrera Mosquera, doctoral candidate for the Ph.D. in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation, and Dr. Richard Lambert on their recent publication “Helping children achieve literacy proficiency: A case study” with Taylor & Francis Online, Literacy Research and Instruction Journal, a top-tier journal (Q1) with an 18% manuscript acceptance rate. The article results from Leo’s internship at ALP-Charlotte, an inspiring educational organization that provided a meaningful learning experience. Leo had a successful spring semester, which included a dissertation proposal defense and being an awardee of the Graduate School Summer Fellowship.
