Don Kirkey

Dr. Don Kirkey is an Associate Graduate Faculty member in in the Learning Design and Technology (LDT) program. He also serves as a corporate / consulting representative on the Board of Advisors for the LDT program. He has an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership (Human Resource Development Specialization) from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has also completed advanced studies in Human Resources at the Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina as well as the Executive Development Program at the McGill University Management Institute. Dr. Kirkey is the principal consultant for the Trinity Creek Group, consulting in the areas of leadership development, organizational development, change management, and workforce learning and performance improvement. He has over 30 years of international corporate leadership experience practicing human performance technology, developing employees, and managing change initiatives in partnership with executive management in the software, electrical engineering, construction, manufacturing, and retail industries, and in the nonprofit world. His current research projects and interests and leadership competencies and development, change implementation and management, onboarding, and program evaluation.
